Rezidenčni program DSP za tuje literarne posrednike 2025
Rezidenčni program DSP je v letu 2025 prednostno namenjen tujim literarnim posrednikom, tj. prevajalcem, ki so zaključili študij ter so prevedli in objavili vsaj dve prevodni deli (program ni namenjen študentom), oziroma založnikom, ki so objavili in promovirali vsaj eno prevodno delo, oziroma literarnim agentom, ki so z založbo sklenili vsaj eno pogodbo za prevod slovenskega leposlovja in humanistike. Upošteva se le prevode slovenske literature in humanistike v tuji jezik.

Nastanitev:
Pisateljski atelje Daneta Zajca se nahaja na Praprotnikovi ulici v Ljubljani, 10 minut hoje od strogega središča mesta. Gre za stanovanje, v katerem je živel eden najvidnejših slovenskih pesnikov Dane Zajc – v rezidenci tako lahko vidimo kar nekaj pričevanj o njem (npr. slike, ki jih je prejel v dar, pohištvo, ki ga je uporabljal, itd.). Rezidenca meri 48,70 m², v njej so dve spalnici, kuhinja, kopalnica in zastekljeni balkon. V manjši spalnici so postelja, pisalna miza, omara, v večji pa tudi bralni kotiček, prav tako ima ta soba zastekljeni balkon. V obeh spalnicah se nahajajo knjižne police s prevodi slovenskih avtorjev ter knjigami, ki jih tu prijazno pustijo gostje rezidence. Stanovanje ima brezžično omrežje, kuhinjo z osnovnim priborom za kuhanje, pralni stroj in likalnik. Organizator poskrbi za čiščenje med menjavami rezidentov ter za menjavo posteljnine in brisač.

Opis programa:
Rezidenčni program DSP je v letu 2025 prednostno namenjen tujim literarnim posrednikom, tj. prevajalcem, ki so zaključili študij ter so prevedli in objavili vsaj dve prevodni deli (program ni namenjen študentom), oziroma založnikom, ki so objavili in promovirali vsaj eno prevodno delo, oziroma literarnim agentom, ki so z založbo sklenili vsaj eno pogodbo za prevod slovenskega leposlovja in humanistike. Upošteva se le prevode slovenske literature in humanistike v tuji jezik. Prednost pri izbiri imajo tisti prevajalci, založniki in literarni agenti, ki s svojim delom in delovanjem prispevajo k promociji in prepoznavnosti slovenskega leposlovja in humanistike v tujini.
DSP bo v letu 2025 omogočil rezidenčno bivanje največ osmim prevajalcem, založnikom in literarnim agentom.
Navodila za prijavo:
Prijava naj bo oddana v slovenskem ali angleškem jeziku. Prijava mora obvezno vsebovati naslednje priloge:
- kratek CV s seznamom objav in/ali promocijskih aktivnosti,
- kratek opis izvedenih in načrtovanih aktivnosti med rezidenčnim bivanjem v Ljubljani in po končani rezidenci (največ ena stran A4),
- predlagan termin bivanja v rezidenci (in dva dodatna možna termina, v tednih).
Prijave morajo prispeti po elektronski pošti najkasneje do 28. 2. 2025 na elektronski naslov matej@drustvo-dsp.si
V zadevi elektronskega sporočila mora biti jasno navedeno »VABILO – Rezidenčni program DSP 2025«.
Upoštevane bodo le popolne in pravočasno oddane prijave. O prijavah bo odločala komisija za mednarodno sodelovanje DSP. Prijavitelji bodo o rezultatih obveščeni v drugem tednu marca 2025.
SWA residency program for foreign literary agents 2025

Duties of the SWA: networking with Slovenian authors and the rest of the literary public, possible presentation of the visiting resident to the public
Responsibilities of the resident: participation in the literary event, a short report on the resident hosting

Accommodation:
The Dane Zajc Writing Studio is located on Praprotnikova Street in Ljubljana, a 10-minute walk from the strict center of the city. It is the apartment in which one of the most prominent Slovenian poets, Dane Zajc, lived – in the residence we can see quite a few testimonies about him (paintings he received as a gift, furniture he used, etc.). The residence measures 48.70 m², it has two bedrooms, a kitchen, a bathroom and a glazed balcony. The smaller bedroom has a bed, desk, wardrobe, and the larger one also has a reading corner. This room also has a glazed balcony. In both bedrooms, there are bookshelves with translations of Slovenian authors and books that are kindly left here by guests of the residence. The apartment has wireless internet, a kitchen with basic cooking utensils, a washing machine and an iron. The organizer takes care of cleaning between changes of residents and changes bed linen and towels regularly.

Program description:
The SWA residency program is primarily intended for foreign literary intermediaries, i.e. translators who have completed their studies and have translated and published at least two translated works (the program is not intended for students), or publishers who have published and promoted at least one translated work, or literary agents who have concluded at least one contract with a publishing house for the translation of Slovenian fiction and humanities. Only translations of Slovenian literature and humanities into a foreign language are considered. Preference is given to those translators, publishers and literary agents who contribute to the promotion and recognition of Slovenian fiction and humanities abroad with their work and activity.
In 2025, SWA will allow a maximum of eight translators, publishers and literary agents to stay in residence.
Application instructions:
The application should be submitted in Slovenian or English. The application must contain the following attachments:
- a short CV with a list of publications and/or promotional activities
- a brief description of the activities carried out and planned during the residency in Ljubljana and after the residency (maximum one A4 page)
- proposed period of stay in the residence (and two additional possible periods, in weeks)

Only complete and prompt applications will be considered. The SWA Commission for international cooperation will decide on the applications. Applicants will be notified of the results in early March 2025.
