Davorin Lenko

Davorin Lenko (1984) studied comparative literature at Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana where he graduated in 2012. In 2014, he received the Kresnik Award for the best novel of the year for Telesa v temi (Bodies in the Dark) as well as the Critic’s Choice Award. The novel was also translated into German by the Slovene Writers’ Association. His collection of short stories Postopoma zapuščati Misantropolis (Gradually Leaving Misantropolis) was nominated for the award Novo Mesto Short. and Psihoporn (Psychoporn), another collection of short prose, was shortlisted for the European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL). For the short story Violina in žiletke (Violin and Razor Blades) won the Arsova Lastovka award and his novel Triger (Trigger) was shortlisted for Kresnik award. He is also the author of monodrama Psiho (Psycho) (2019).
