Ana Porenta
Ana Porenta (1965) is a master of arts (University of Ljubljana), a teacher, a founder of Zavod za razvijanje ustvarjalnosti, cofounder of the web portal for poetry www.pesem.si and a chief editor of the latter since its beginning in 2007. She has published collections of poetry: Sem se (2005), Kitke (with co-authors Sonja Votolen and Jana Pečečnik, 2009) and Deklice (2016). She wrote several textbooks on teaching Slovenian at early stages, a youth-novel Virtualnisvet.com (2004), Na sledi za medvedi (2002), theatrical texts Videzi sveta and Videzi domišljije (2006, 2007). Her poetry has been published in art magazines (Apokalipsa, Dialogi, Lirikon, Literatura, Mentor, Sodobnost …). She writes editorials, edits poetry collections and coedits yearly anthologies Pesem si (12 issues so far). She is the mentor of literary seminars. With her collection of poems Deklice, she was invited to a festival Pranger (2017) and on European poetry festival Stranou (Praga, 2018).
