Kristijan Muck
Ljubljana, Slovenia, on 23 February 1941. He graduated from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana. In 1980, he returned to the Academy, where he held the position of Assistant Professor for the first fifteen years. Since 1995, he has been teaching acting as University Professor. Retired in 2015. By 1990, he appeared in some 150 roles in theatre, film and television. As actor he also performed in Germany and Austria. In 1980s, he staged a series of his own projects, performances, happenings and exhibitions. Eleven poetry collections have been published; a book of prose, eight theatrical pieces (Portimão and Vehicle were staged in the Slovene National Theatre Drama Ljubljana), and three collections of essays, Antigonino zrcalo/Antigona’s Mirror (1988), Med krinko in obrazom/Between Mask and Face (2000), Hoja skozi hip/Walking Through a Moment (2008). Three radio plays were performed at RTV Slovenija.
